The Senior Sales Manager- Channel Sales- wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners like Dealers/ Distributors. Assigned to channel partners based on geography, channel, or market, the Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment in specified region. The Senior Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused in a partner vertical market. The Senior Manager reports to the Vice President- Sales & BD.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES –

• Manage sales activities of Dealers/ Distributors to generate revenue as per the assigned targets.
• Coordinate with Channel Partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals.
• Analyse market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness in channel.
• Educate Dealers/ Distributors about product portfolio and services offered.
• Address related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner.
• Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.
• Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business.
• Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities.
• Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners.
• Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities.
• Closely Work with Dealers/ Distributors to develop sale proposals, quotations, and pricings.
• Assist in Field Sales activities, help in executing campaigns and other promotional activities in coordination with Marketing Team.
• Proactively handle all the internal reporting structures including CRM system of company.
• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and channel partners’ expectations.
• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
• Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.


ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES –

• Achieves assigned sales quota in designated Distributor accounts.
• Achieve personal Monthly targets and meets assigned expectations for profitability.
• Maintains high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
• Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT –

• Reports to the VP- Sales & BD
• Enlists the support of Marketing specialists, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
• Closely coordinates company executive involvement with Dealer or Distributor and end-user customer management as appropriate.
• Works closely with Customers to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS –

• Graduation Or Post Graduation from an accredited institution
• 3-5 years of channel sales experience in a businessto-business sales environment.
• Computer& Mobile Apps proficiency

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS –

• This position requires extensive travel.
• All prospective employees must pass a background check.
